This doula duo offers a unique knowledge background and skill set. The two compliment each other well and both bring different assets to the table. You will have the opportunity to work with both Corinne and Tina, ensuring that you receive the highest level of support within all aspects of your perinatal journey.
Corinne
Corinne is a Level 2 Usui Reiki Practioner and former Registered Nurse, with significant experience in both ICU and Labor & Delivery. She worked as a nurse along side midwives, in a birthing center. As well as with doctors, in a hospital setting. Although she is now very much holistic minded, her medical knowledge shows to be very valuable when understanding and explaining modern birth practices and all alternative choices available.
After experiencing a traumatic first birth herself, her true passion was awakened. That passion being, to inform, support, and empower all mothers, in order for them to feel confident and be truly informed, when making autonomous perinatal decisions.
Corinne decided to leave her career in nursing, and move into sacred birth work, after the healing homebirth of her second child.
She believes that birth can be the most sacred and empowering experience as a woman. She also knows the healing powers, in which a properly supported birth can possess. And she finds deep fulfilment when she is able to share in this, with the mothers she supports.
Tina
Tina possesses many spiritual gifts. How she embraces and applies these gifts, is so incredibly unique and creative. Tina’s passion has always been rooted within sharing this special part of her, in order to guide, support and empower others. .
Tina is an Intuitive Psychic, who utilizes a variety of sacred tools when performing readings. She has the ability to connect with Spirit Guides for guidance. She is also able to communicate with the unborn baby/child soul. This can be incredible for pregnant mothers, who choose to incorporate this optional experience.
Tina is also a Reiki Master and teacher, in both Usui and Angelic Reiki. She has the ability to perform adult, prenatal, child, animal and plant reiki. In addition to Reiki, her energy work extends into trauma healing, chakra balancing/clearing and energy clearing.
While it isn’t typical of a Psychic or energy healer to work within the realm of birth, Tina has incorporated these gifts within her doula work. And she brings a very valuable skill set to mothers as they journey through pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
